How long does it take?
Project timelines very based on size and complexity. Simple portfolio sites usually take 2-4 weeks, e-commerce sites 8-12 weeks and complex web applications may take longer. A detailed timeline is provided after we discuss your project.
Can I update my website myself?
Depending on the project, you may be able to make changes yourself. E-commerce sites include admin tools for updating listings and web applications may feature dashboards for managing content. These requirements are discussed during planning. The source code is availiable throughout and after the project but I recommend requesting changes through me to ensure everything functions correctly.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. I can revamp your existing site to improve design, performance and functionality using modern tools and techniques.
How many revisions do you allow?
I don't set a fixed limit on revisions and am happy to make adjustments as needed. From the start, I ensure we're aligned on the project's direction and check in at agreed milestones. You'll have access to the site during development, so you can see progress in real time and request changes along the way. Minor adjustments are always welcome but major revisions - such as a complete home page redesign - are requested after prior approval, these may incur and additional cost.

Before starting, we'll discuss your goals and current level to create a personalised learning plan. Whether you're preparing for exams or learning programming as a new skill, the pace and focus of lessons are always tailored to you.
Lesson format
Lessons are delivered online using video conferencing tools, with screen sharing and a digital whiteboard to make explanations clear and interactive. Sessions typically last an hour but can be extended if needed to cover more complex topics. After each lesson, I can provide practice questions or notes to help reinforce what we've covered.
Flexibility
I understand that schedules can change, so lessons can be rearranged if needed. If you're unable to attend a session, just let me know in advance and we'll find a suitable alternative time. This flexible approach ensures that you learning fits smoothly around your other commitments.
Payment options
Payments can be made securely by bank transfer or PayPal. You can choose to pay per lesson, or save by purchasing a block of lessons in advance. All payment details are provided clearly with no hidden fees.

Book individual lessons
£20 / hr
Perfect if you'd like felxibility without commitment. Individulal lessons are priced at £20 per hour, allowing you to book sessions as and when you need them. This option is idea if you want to try out tutoring before committing to a block or if you're looking for occasional support to target specific topics.
Save with block payments
£18 / hr
If you are looking for regular support, block bookings are a more cost-effective option. You can purchase a block of 5 lessons at £19 per hour or a block of 10 lessons at £18 per hour. Blocks give you consistency in your learning while saving on the hourly rate, making them a great choice for long-term exam preparation or steady progress in maths and programming.

Academic Background
I'm Harrison Baghurst, a Maths and Programming tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level. I'm currently in my second year studying Computer Science at Durham University, building on the strong foundation I gained at A-Level.
My Teaching Approach
With real-world tutoring experience, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, managable steps. My lesson are always tailored to each students goals - whether that's boosting exam grades, building confidence or learing coding as a new skill. I also hold a standard DBS check and the safety and wellbeing of my tutees is always of the utmost importance.
